Terry Saunders Single Turbo Supra

Terry bought his Toyota Supra in 1998 after owning a number of other turbo charged cars. The Supra promised to give performance and handling at a reasonable price, but the tuning bug took hold and led to the machine you see here.

Terry has had a number of modifications on his car, 2 sets of hybrids, cams, filters, wheels, additional injectors. But it was never enough, the only choice was to go to a single turbo. To keep the engine in one piece the whole package had to be upgraded. Improved fueling, cams, pistons, rods, cooling...the list goes on and on.

During its development the engine was stripped, rebuilt and run on an engine dyno and produced in excess of 600bhp on a reduced boost run.

The engine is now in car the and running ready for the big events this year. The final specification is still being sorted out but rest assured this is going to be one quick car
