Leon Green HKS Twin Turbo Supra 2003

Leon has had a wide range of cars over the year. The Supra is the most powerful road car to date. It has been used as his development car which has allowed him to see how each modification actually affects performance and reliability.

Leon tried the various hybrid routes and developed his first set of hybrids for his own Supra. These produced an awesome level of power considering the size and specification. There is a certain point at which hybrids cannot go any further on the sequential turbo supra. This isnt a limit of the turbo, more of the specialised nature of the sequential system. Leon decided to go the HKS GT twin turbo route. These run a custom spec to provide as little lag as possible but with the usual aim of giving a huge top end.

Leon has also experimented with various wheel and tyre combinations. The current choice is Blitz Technospeed 19" with Bridgestone s-02 tyres. Naturally this is not enough to keep the power on the ground so Leon also uses Racelogic Traction control which is pretty much essential for a Supra in the wet.

Leon went for a respray this year as can be seen by the pictures. The plan was to have the car ready for 10 of the Best 2003 but things just didnt come together in time so Leon hopes to run the car at Santa Pod in October.
